IOP members log in

The Institute of Physics has a fascinating and diverse membership that ranges from university students through qualified professionals in all disciplines to the still interested and involved retired community.   We believe that the Institute of Physics is a place where any physicist or person interested in physics can come to find something to interest and amaze them, and to form positive connections with others who share their fascination.

Physics graduates get everywhere! Here is a series of profiles of our members which we hope will help demonstrate the amazing number of career choices that a degree in physics opens up to you, and that you are inspired by what others have done and achieved. These profiles will be added to and updated periodically, showing other interesting career paths that our members have followed.
